I'm proud to announce that I've been accepted to the Smithsonian Artist Research Fellowship cohort of 2017. Over the course of the summer, I will be conducting research for an upcoming project with the aid of the Smithsonian in Washington, DC. My home base will be the Smithsonian's Anacostia Community Museum, established in 1967 in the city's Southeast quadrant. The archives at my avail include those of the Smithsonian's varied and vast institutions as well as other organizations in the DC area.
